Question of the week: What are you thankful for?

What are you thankful for in your running life?

Happy Thanksgiving PGRC and friends!

  1. I am thankful for good shoes, great running friends/mentors and not killing myself with the million races I did this year : )

    • After having a broken ankle in 2007, I am thankful for every day I am healthy enough to put one foot in front of the other and get moving. But by breaking my ankle I met all of you fabulous people so I’m thankful for the injury as well!

  2. I’m thankful to have been fairly injury free so far in my running career. I’m also thankful for great running friends/mentors who have made me a stronger/faster runner and for pushing me to try new challenges.

  3. I am so thankful that I “get” to run and am healthy enough to do so. I finished my first half last weekend (go Philly!) and really reflected on how blessed I am to have the opportunity to run (even though I don’t always enjoy it).

  4. I am thankful that my almost 40-year old body wants to be and can be active. I’m thankful for having met so many awesome people through PGRC. I’m thankful that all it takes is one good run to renew my love affair with running.

Sorry this is late. I had my class reunion on the brain last week. 🙂
