Sunday Run for January 6, 2008

Please join me for a long run this Sunday, January 6, 2006. I will be leaving from the Greenbelt Youth Center, 99 Centerway, Greenbelt, MD at 8:00 am and running for approximately 6 miles.

Here is some helpful information about long runs.

1. The distance is approximate so it is quite possible that the run will be longer or shorter then 6 miles.

2. The run will go unless there is a massive snowstorm or the temperatures fall to a dangerously low level. In other words, plan on running on Sunday.

3. The run will start no later then 8:05 am.

4. This run is unsupported. You should bring enough water for a 6 mile run. There is no water available after we leave the Greenbelt Youth Center. Also, if you need sports drinks or gels you should bring those with you too.

5. You should be able to run 6 miles comfortably before coming on this run. The run should be done at a conversational pace. This pace is usually a minute to a minute and a half slower then your marathon pace. I will be running at a 10:30 pace but you should feel free to run at your own pace.
